Review by hotel critic
The Charles Hotel in Harvard Square has proven to be a solid choice for our recent corporate retreat. The location offers the perfect balance between accessibility to local shops and restaurants and the tranquility of a quieter street. My ninth-floor room provided a great view and ample power points to keep devices charged during our meetings. Breakfast from Henrietta’s Table, though brought to my room, was a delightful experience and complemented our working days. I particularly appreciated the on-site business centre and the extensive meeting facilities, which were essential for our sessions. Staff assistance with on-site audio-visual support streamlined presentation setups. The hotel features a 24-hour reception, adding convenience. After hours, cozy corners in the lobby and the bar area provided a comfortable space for informal discussions. The Charles Hotel effectively caters to the needs of business travelers, making it a strategic base for work and relaxation.
